I got out of consoles after the N64, so if it ain't on PC I don't care until it is.
A game doesn't exist to me until it's on PC.
There's your answer.
The original game wasn't on PC, it is utterly irrelevant to this convo.
Non-PC gaming is irrelevant until it makes it to PC.
We let the children test the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ version of the game with their kid's toy and then we adults get the better version after the kids have consumed the slop.
The only time we complain, and rightfully so, is when a crossplatform game is dumbed down/shrunk for consoles.
Hitman:Absolution is an excellent example. Smallest levels in the series due to trying to make it fit on the consoles at the time while still looking pretty.
As long as our games are not modified on our platform, I'd love to see console players get access to our exclusives.
