Do this to fix Mouse sensitivity issue
1. Disable mouse smoothing in the game settings by turning it down to 0.
2. Open registry editor (Win+R and type regedit, or type regedit in windows search bar) then go to
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Naughty Dog\The Last of Us Part II\Input
and change
EnableMouseSmoothing
from 1 to 0

And sometimes when I try to do a "fast zoom" I can't shoot and have to press the shoot button TWO times. Maybe it's because I set close combat to LMB. Also, in the game you can't change the weapon assignment numbers
I feel like the problem for that is the dual binding on LMB, I just changed my controls to match yours, I'll let you know if I notice the issue aswell.

You are not alone, I use gyro aiming to mouse and there is a huge deadzone ! I tried the same with my mouse but the deadzone issue persist ...
THISSS. I thought my mouse was dying on me or something. Every time I aim there seems to be some sort of resistance by the game and have to move my mouse alot before I can move the camera.

Yeah will be looking forward to either a patch or a fanfix =(
i also having the same issue. dead zone is like any infected head for me it stops me from getting head shots constantly, better drop a hot fix

this should be a high priority issue. aiming is integral and a constant thing, im missing a bunch of my headshots because its like the reticule is stopping at grid-like intervals. what im wondering is how does this get past testing? are the devs using controllers only? can't be, because ive noticed that the weapon cross has been improved for mouse

Guys, I found a solution to this problem, it worked for me.
you can fix this by setting your dpi to a very high number like 8000, or higher if you need to. and then set the ingame sensitivity to the lowest, we should not have to do this, but its a temporary solution that works if anyone needs it
this one sort of helps but yeah hopefully there would be a patch fixing it

I immediately noticed this during the first scene where you need to aim like 10 minutes from the start of the game.


lol right. you'd think if you are remastering a game specifically for a different piece of hardware, you would actully optest the game on that hardware...

yes, played some hours with it but it is unplayable man, waiting for fix to start again cause the game is gorgeous

I have another issue. I tried steam's gyro to mouse but the feeling of motion is not smooth. So i tried to enable in game Motion Sensor (at PART 1 was amazing and was working properly), but i can only activate it with steam input disabled. The problem is that I play with reverse analog X and Y, and motion sensor Not reverse, but while the motion sensor Y reverse on or off works properly, the X mirroring doesn't. It turn it of or on and it still mirrors the X analog movement. I even tried the same settings as PART 1 but still have the same issue.
I have no idea why steam input allows me to enable motion sensor in PART 1 but not in PART 2.

Mouse input issue for aiming
Notice in game, aim tracking/mouse movement is not input for small, fine, mouse movements. The reticle does not move if you do small or fine mouse movements but it does when doing hard ones or playing on the joystick. Mice works well in other games, TLOU II menu and web browser. Any fix? May Nixxes fix this by friday or saturday?

noticed 100%. it's hard to believe this was overlooked. I almost think its intentional to restrict mouse input to align with controller limitations.

Yeah it's definitely not registering small deltas in mouse input. It only starts registering mouse input if it's moving at a fast enough speed, which makes headshots very difficult.
