which should i use though? i see AOM and SVT.
alright, noted. i'll try that out and hopefully i won't see any OBS crashes.
later edit: actually some weird stuff is happening - i checked my recordings and some of them have zero sound.. WTF.
i wonder if it's just how i'm streaming the game to discord? i just have it so that a windowed projector is open and i capture that window. this is just cuz i have an overlay with PNGtubers of all my friends that are in the discord call.
i could just screen share directly to discord but i like using the layout i have in OBS
Screen sharing directly on discord will hog on your VRAM and GPU, unless you have GPU video acceleration disabled. I'm personally not a fan of normal discord streaming because of this.
i see... i guess i might just be out of luck
If you're running DLSS or Nvidia Reflex, turn them off..
Performance and stability actually improved after I disabled DLSS and set AA to TAA and turned off Reflex.
Anyway - for the OP: try limit your fps in game and it should work flawlessly !
I am running at 90 fps with DLAA since 6 hours making several recordings without issues now !
