Am I the only one who noticed that the game is aggressively sharpened?

What you should do is submit a ticket :
https://support.nixxes.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

I did the same. Hopefully they listen.

I won't waste my time. There's a mod to fix the issue anyway and I will complete the game before they even patch it.

I think forcing the game to DLSS 4.0 in the Nvidia settings may have helped a little (running a 4090 OC), but I've barely played the game yet. If it hasn't improved I'll have a look at the mod.

Nope DLSS 4 does not do anything at all.
Only the mod makes it better but tbh with my current progress even before installing the mod the sharpness is less prominent compared to when I started the game.

Guess it looks like downing the mod is in the cards in the future then. Hopefully they will fix the issue in a future patch.

We should not have to rely on any mod whatsoever to fix what is a very simple issue.

well tough ♥♥♥♥ that's how pc gaming is nowadays
Do you just put the two files from the mod in your directory and it works when starting the game normally?

Nope.

That's not how it has to be.

Submitting feedback to the dev, hopefully the issue gets enough attention.
DLAA seems ok, but even with sharpness at 0, it's still a bit too sharp. During movement.

Edit : thank you to whoever originally found the nexus mod. That looks better. I can see what they were going for with the sharpener post process, but they went overkill

Where do the files in the folder belong, please?
The main folder that opens on pressing "browse local files" on steam
