audio is low AF

I have audio completely maxed out and can barely hear anything.

What helped me was

Change audio settings to headset, dynamic range to "reduced", output spacial

try turning off surround sound if you are using it. In the last of us I don't have this problem but in some games when I use surround sound the game is much quieter

Headphones/Auto - should be fine. I had to turn mine down, but I have an amp

happened to me, I changed Spatial to Traditional from Options > Audio > Compatibility at the bottom "Output Mode"

in europe its even worse we got like decibel rules on our devices and crap

Sony and their damn accessibility settings have to change every little settings just to get everything dialed in.
