Why is the file size gargantuan

I think an option to opt out of enhanced textures or whatever is fluffing the file size would be nice.

not trying to be a fanboy or anything but while overall i think this game is a 7/10... it is true that is one of the best looking games you will ever see in any platform (if not the best looking game ever)

I am playing the game and it kicks me out of the game and freezes. this is the second time this has happened. Yes I understand there may be some problems but the game was activated just this day. My system is a very fast pc. 4090 graphics card' 192 gb ram and latest intel chip 14th generation. Please make new updates quickly to fix the problem. Thank you.

Yes, but sometimes the sound and video is compressed less so as to not lose quality.

Back in the PS1 days, when space was at a premium, videos and sound would get compressed to ♥♥♥♥ and be super distorted, even when unpacked.

You can't compress something and then uncompress it without some artifacting and loss of quality. So sound and FMV tend to be compressed less.

I agree this is probably the most visually stunning game I've ever played. Plus the little details in the gore effects is just insane
