dolby vision issues
Every time i bring the weapon wheel up, pause menu, bag inventory, etc. my screen flashes to black and the dolby vision indicator pops up on my monitor. Would be great if this could be fixed its really annoying in game.

Hey, had similar issue, bit different, but I'm sure this will fix your issue.

To anyone with same issue.

Go to folder where the game is installed, right click tlou-ii.exe - Properties - Compatibility - tick Use legacy display ICC colour management

Done.

Thank you man. I was having the same issue as OP but with that fix I’m able to keep Dolby vision turned on/off all the time rather than it popping up only during gun selection or in the menu. Was getting hella annoying during normal gameplay lmao

Hell ya thanks dude.. annoying the hell out of me too.. today when I went to play it I can see DV was on in start menu but when I start the game it looked like ♥♥♥♥ and the big clue where I can tell my hdr isn’t working is with the fps nvidia overlay. When it’s washed up something is up but when it’s nice and bright the hdr or DV is working as intended.. right when I applied what you said it was like an ahuh moment.. so i applied this trick to all my games and tomorrow I’ll test it out since it’s pretty late.. I’ve always seen this setting but for some reason didn’t think much of it which is stupid of me since I’m a photographer, know lots about color calibration and always have my screen calibrated.. so thanks again for bringing this setting to our attention..

This worked, not sure if DV is always inactive or not, but it fixes the flickers at least!
