DLSS FG broken

DLSS FG is giving no extra fps while fsr FG is nearly doubling my fps

I9-12900k @ 5.5GHz
RTX 4090 24GB
64 GB RAM
Samsung 990 Pro 2TB

If I use DLSS upscaling at quality, and FSR FG, I get about 144fps at 4k

If I use DLSS upscaling at quality, and DLSS FG, I'm around 80 FPS at 4k

If I use DLSS upscaling at quality, with no FG at all, around 74 fps at 4k

All drivers current.

Make a real comment vs that nonsense. Go troll elsewhere. A top of the line GPU like a 2080S, 3090, 4090 are good for 7 years. Plus, the new 5k line is a joke. GPUs that mostly rely on x4 FG vs raw computing power.

There's no universe where a 7 year old card should be able to max out new releases at 144 fps. The Ada Lovelace architecture in your 4090 is nearing 4 years old now. Console generations historically only last around 6 years. That's not to say your card is bad, but if you want the best performance you need to upgrade. It's always been this way.

I'm in Boston now I don't know if that has anything to do with it but I don't think so, even fsr framegen doesn't work now, always max GPU usage 60/70%, I also discovered that if I load old saves, at the beginning of the game, or in the snow etc. the GPU work to 99%.. I give up, I'll wait for a patch.

When dlls or dlls frame gene is opened, flicker occurs in trees and around. It is annoying. Same with dlls4.

Um. I just don't have a DLSS FG setting, only FSR FG, 4070 Super, what's the big deal?

G-sync seems to be not working, as no G-sync indicator on to right of screen and have screen tearing.
Anyone else having this issue?

Solved! This is weird, in the Nvidia app G-sync was on for game but looked in profile inspector and it was turned off.

Are you sure you only get 74 fps at 4K DLSS4-Q with your 4090? I have a 4090 as well but with R7 7800X3D and using my 21:9 monitor I get around 90-120fps (depending on location) at 5K2K DLSS-4. I couldn't get FG to work either

Forgot to say its DLSS4-Q. I couldn't get FG to work which is why I ended up here. Hopefully the trick posted here will solve the problem.

I have a 5070Ti and I don't even have the option for DLSS FG. Only FSR FG shows up as an option. I have no idea why. Just DDU'd my drivers. Still the same.

What do you mean by streamline files?

Streamline is the technology behind DLSS. The files are "sl.common.dll" ou any "sl.anything.dll"

Hi. I have now tried to replace 6 files in the Tlou 2 folder, taking them from nexusmods, namely those that were posted for the new Oblivion, replaced all except those responsible for frame generation, because I have 2080ti. I changed the Dlss using Dlss swapper, but the game did not start . In the launcher, after replacing the files, Dlss and Reflex became inactive. Can you tell me how to make a Streamline replacement correctly? Can you give me a link to the files that are needed and where to properly upload them, maybe need to copy to the Nvidia folder?

I install the drivers without this application, install via nvclean and disable the unnecessary ones.

I'm using the optimized settings which Nvidia has set to use FG but NOT use DLSS. So the game is running at native resolution wtih FG on and I'm getting over 200 FPS at 1440p with a 5080
