5800x3d about 60-80% of usage among all cores and threads, seems a little bit more than i expected
Agreed , CPU usage is all over the show.
9800x3d usually 30% but sometimes peak 80%. I've never seen a game use that much CPU

Likely cause the game doesn't have shader build, so it builds on the fly which can cause massive cpu spikes.

you never play First TLOU in PC? its always 70-90% usage
This game uses async shader compilations. Instead of compiling them in menu for an hour in menu (Like part I), game compiles it on free cores when you reach new loaction

Same here,getting 85º ROFL
this is another indicator that this game has zero optimization, its really funny cuz its based on ps4, and cpu have evolved after multiple generation and yet they fail again and again to do actual optimization for pc, thats why I keep saying those incompetent devs deserve to be on the streets, pc ports are often compromised with visual downgrade and bad optimization for the hardware regardless of hardware generation.
14900KS 5,7GHz fixed (undervolted) all p-cores up to 97% !

Its the shader compile during the level and not in the main menu like in Part I.
cpu absolutely cooking in this game, 90c
according to Digital Foundry it is only slightly better port than tlou 1
mine only gets hot for a few seconds after each scene up to 82c, during gameplay my 13900k is around 56c which is cool, i believe the game does a small shader compile after each scene, could explain it.

4600H pushing 48fps. i haven't hit the 70s yet. all nice.
