you are asking to be spoiled and the game is extremly volatile to spoilers. in terms of pure game design and gameplay its much bigger and polished. so if you liked the first game then i can say besides the story it is very likely you will also like this game.

assuming the pc port is day1 in good shape. they story is extremly community dividing and i would recommend you to not read the forum if you want to go in blind. which no matter if you end up loving or hating it, the story will for sure engage you.

what you can do is watch this, they were promotion for the game prior to its release on playstation and are not spoilers. they are also to some degree not part of the actual game, its hard to explain without spoiler. all you need to know is that you can and actually should have watched these before playing. it will make sense later.

i just checked to make sure. this here you should also watch, and while the whole trailer was shown prior to the games launch. i would suggest to stop watching after 3:34 of that trailer. the start shows stuff that happens before the game, everything after the 3:34 is just mostly gameplay and stuff that wont get you anywhere and is imho while not being true spoilers not helpful to watch if you want to go in blind

Taking aside all the SJW stuff, the game is great, that is facts. I say taking aside all the SJW stuff because ultimately there is only one questionable part at the start that involves Joel regarding a comment he makes and the reaction is typical madness where someone in their mid life is expected to understand very new things that have not really been explained to them and it seems slightly spiteful and violent, he is expect to understand but is given zero understanding. The rest is really peoples choice which should not affect you and is harmless to you as a player.

Weather you agree or not is a different thing, but to let any of that detract from the game would be crazy. Just play it, its one hell of a roller coaster and is IMHO a gripping story and your 1st play through will be an experience.

didnt manage to play this on launch due to dead PS4, so i am looking forward to the sequel and see how the story unfolds/continues myself (TLOU1 set the bar pretty high)

The gameplay is good but some of these characters are questionable, to put it nicely.

I can’t tell who’s more unlikeable Dina or Abbey. But I’ll let you decide.
