What Kinda PC Mods Would Y'all like to see?
Since this game is gonna be on PC in less than a day, naturally we will start to see modders crack open the game files in one way or another.

First off, i am hoping someone can make guides on modding in general as i felt that for Part 1 remake there were only a few people making meaningful MODS and not just .ini file adjustments.

Personally I am hoping for some kinda framework to be able to customize no return levels, modifiers etc. On the level of Bethesda games? Probably not, but some kinda framework to be able to mod this game effectively would be great!

The game does read unpacked files if anyone is wondering, but there was some lighting bugs when using unpacked files for some reason. :ellie_tlou_ii:

good to know. part 1 does allegedly too. (i never tested the darker tess mod). and... i guess modding levels will mess with the baked lighting data. i'm well aware of that possibility.

Increased maximum ammo reserves. +50% would be about on par with how much you can carry in Part 1, and +100% or more would make hoarding ammo for a bigger shootout feel actually meaningful.

I've never really understood why Naughty Dog wanted both rubberbanded ammo drops (i.e., you get more drops when you run low) and very low maximum reserve capacity. The former is fine enough as a game balance measure, but the latter just puts a hard limit on the benefits of being frugal with your ammunition.

Bethesda hasn't used Gamebryo in 17 years.

incorrect, they built their own engine off of an already extremely modified branch of Gamebryo. Even going back to Morrowind nearly every system and mechanic was custom written by Bethesda.

Or do you think they can just take someone else's IP and change the name and not get in any sort of legal trouble?

Change the Aby model for the concept art Aby more skinni
NEED a mod that can the chance of low-health dialogue and kill moves happening. i love when ellie/abby says ♥♥♥♥ like "you cant stop me!" when fighting, just wish we saw it more
