What´s the Deal with the "woke" accusations of Part 2?

I avoided any Informations about Part 2, so i dont get spoiled before playing. But i read more and more that this Game supports the brainderad woke Agenda of left Maniacs.

Is it true or do People just exaggerate?

abby isn't transgender that was a fake leak people just dislike her because her muscles are "unrealistic" (in the same world as zombies btw) and Ellie was established as a gay charactrer all the way back in 2014 I don't understand why people are complaining I can appreciate this game for taking risks and trying new things

Honestly I used to be a hardcore hater of ''woke'' stuff but I kinda stopped caring about it at this point.

If I like the game overall even with it's downsides then I buy it and If I don't then I don't.

The game actually uses quite a few right wing themes to motivate the players journey (revenge, justice, self-reliance, a brutal lack of mercy for the enemy, etc). It's only at the very end of the game where they try try to guilt trip you for indulging in those ideas, which is part of the reason many call it woke.

As for the identity politics, it's present, but very light in that regard. Overall one of the less woke AAA games of modern times IMO.

You cannot argue that right wing ideals don't favour retribution much more so than vice-versa.

Just take a look at how progressive places such as Scandinavia treat prisoners/convicts versus a right wing country like the US or Russia. It's like comparing a 5 star hotel to a gulag, and the conditions get worse and worse the further to the right you go.

This is not a political issue and neither side is good. It's a basic human concept and it will be present in any group regardless of their politics no matter how much they pretend that they are the ''good guys''

Either way the revenge themes in TLOU have absolutely nothing to do with politics and tagging revenge as a ''right wing theme'' is idiotic. The concept of revenge existed before right wing or even politics were thought of.

, its a revenge story I also had to play it because people was shouting woke and almost didn't want to pick it up, glad I did and it turned out it wasn't shoving that crap down your throat and played a very minor plot in the story, its one of the best technical games out during the time and I had a great time.

One of the playable characters is so swole she kinda has to use steroids to maintain that way, which kind of is hard to do when civilization has collapsed. Other than that it is a good game though.
