Oh awesome, Yeah last time I looked on the store page it stated PSN was mandatory and I decided I'd wait to see if they backed down from that nonsensical requirement.

* This all has to do with Sony's lack of business presence in those locked out countries , or it could be that the government in those countries won't let the publisher sell certain games in their country. The latest being Silent Hill F being locked out of Australia due to certain controversies surrounding the game's contents.
Region lock is automatically noticeable on Steam because you can't get the game to appear on store page.
I guarantee the "extra" stuff you get from making an account can just be modded in or by simply changing some kinda .ini file in the game directory.
100%. it's not really about sony, you just gotta wear the jacket for a screenshot and like it. make the devs happy. :) linking is just easier for sony to track interest. top floor office bs.
