How is Naughty Dog going to address cheating in No Return's leaderboards?

As you know, No Return has leaderboards where people can compare their score against other players, and cheating isn't a problem on PS5 since it's a locked platform, but PC, where cheating is abundant and easy, isn't.

Will TLOU2 have some sort of anti-cheat to prevent people from cheating their way through leaderboards? Anti-cheat in a singleplayer game sounds insane, so I don't think they'd go that far for just one game mode, but I could see alternatives being used without making people angry.

What do you think?

denuvo I guess, but I really don't care about leaderboards so you'd have to ask someone else. wait, it doesn't look like the game has denuvo since I don't see any grey steam sign on it. I honestly don't know now lol

Like most PC games the leaderboard will be worthless.

Just the unfortunate truth, the leaderboard will basically be there just for you to measure you're own skill.

None of Sony's PC ports have had Denuvo though, so I don't think they're gonna add it here either.

Yeah, even in RE4 Remake the leaderboards are cheated, so I'm fearing it'll be the same here.

the entire leaderboard competition only really means something on consoles. You always end up with cheaters of some sort on PC gaming and that can get really tense with games like COD.

I don't know about that Leon, I mean ppl who have PS4 or 5 already and decided not to play TLOU 2 wouldn't switch their dials for a free dlc tacked in.
