What are the benefits? Is it worth it?

just some early game benefits that don't exactly help you to a great degree. i wouldn't say it's exactly worth it, but unless you are excited to play, sure go a head.

If you’ve never played the game I would wait to see if it performs, personally I prefer-ordered it because it’s probably one of my favorite games ever and the combat is especially good but if I had never played the game before I probably wouldn’t of pre-ordered it.
Always worry about game performance above all else these days by watching performance reviews first. I won't say TLOU 2 is the same way because I obviously don't know but there tend to be lot of games that are really underperforming on PC without patches.

The pre-order items are essentially pointless or at the very least should not be the deciding factor on the choice of a pre-order.

I pre-order games just so I can install the game immediately, if i know I'm going to buy a game there is no point in waiting for release to purchase it.

In this case, if the game runs well and isn't a repeat for the first one it's a safe purchase, the voice acting, story, characters, tone, atmosphere, gameplay are all masterful.

No, not really.

I just pre-ordered, because I wanted to have it ready to go in my library. I know the story, and, I'm impressed by the execution, game art, and tension. Furthermore, I also have Part I.

I also think that the engineering will be good, because Naughty Dog learned from the predecessor. Just google, and you will find sources telling that the port has been finished since 2023.
You can always refund it if you play less than 2 hours. Don't worry too much about it. Even if you somehow find out that game performes poorly on your pc after you pass 2 hr limit, it's not as bad as it may seem. The game will be fixed eventually, even if if performs poorly on day one (which i doubt tbh)

I played the Part I, and I am excited to play Part II but I want to experience it with better GPU and monitor so I might not play for a long time

Part I is single-handedly without a doubt the best single player game I have ever played so far, hands down. Before playing Part II, i just want to get something like 5080 and OLED monitor to make everything perfect

there are rumors that the game will be available to pre download like a day in advance like how ghost of tsushima or god of war were but besides that I personally pre ordered because I'm excited to play it for the first time
