The fighter Gabi Garcia is a real woman with a huge body because she can eat 4000+ calories and do hours of heavy exercises every day. But Abby is in a post-apocalyptic world where everyone is often hungry, not to forget that TLOU is supposed to be realistic. Saving food at the farm would be logical, not wasting it on bodybuilding when the tomorrow is uncertain. So, no, she just doesn't make sense.

From what I've seen in real life, most real people's bodies make no sense.

You get people with extra long legs, with legs and arms where one is longer than the other, people with no noticeable stomachs or necks, people who are way stronger than they look or way weaker than they look, you get offset eyes, weird balding patterns. A wide variety of eyebrows. Some people are way thicker than other people the same size. And so on.
