Abby's body makes no sense.
I'm not here to yell "woke", but regardless of liking or disliking Abby, we need some logic here. The fighter Gabi Garcia is a real woman with a huge body because she can eat 4000+ calories and do hours of heavy exercises every day. But Abby is in a post-apocalyptic world where everyone is often hungry, not to forget that TLOU is supposed to be realistic. Saving food at the farm would be logical, not wasting it on bodybuilding when the tomorrow is uncertain. So, no, she just doesn't make sense.

Did you play the game? Abby lives in a stadium that has a farm with multiple sources of livestock and a fully kitted out gym. She was also someone Jacob (the leader of their group) relied on so would have gotten gotten preferential treatment, i.e. access to food.

Sheep/cows/chickens in this one shot alone. And how did Joel get coffee when it would have been extremely rare to come across? He bartered for it, just like Abby could have easily bartered for extra food.

If the world were ruined, meaning tomorrow is never certain, would you save as much food as possible or let someone eat 3 times more than other people for bodybuilding? Wouldn't other people protest?
Forced excuses...

You can call it whatever you like, the facts don't change. The only forced excuse I see is you working backwards from the fact you dislike a character to rationalize your own predisposition.

The farm and livestock is tiny compared to the hundreds of people it needs to feed. unless they have vast other enclosed areas,

however, it doesn't really matter. yes, the game is mostly trying to be realistic, but abby was designed as a character with a single minded goal, devoting her life for it and her body design supports that.

If it was a hundreds of animals the same people would have called it unrealistic and contrived just to excuse the fact Abby had access so much protein. The OP made it sound like these people are fighting for food every day just to stave off hunger, which the living arrangement at the stadium shows simply isn't true.

I also agree it doesn't even matter, it was a stylistic choice and maybe even purposefully provocative. It certainly did provoke, so mission accomplished.

You're struggling to justify a character who eats a lot in the Apocalypse like several enslaver villains of The walking Dead. Hi-5, Joel!!

Not much of a struggle when the game does the heavy lifting for me. Pay attention.

it was just to piss of a certain demographic, they know it makes no sense thats why they used a roided up cross fit athlete chick for the body, they went out of their way for that one, think about it.

" is in a post-apocalyptic world where everyone is often hungry, not to forget that TLOU is supposed to be realistic. "

WRONG.
TLOU Franchise is a COZY franchise.

I see Tlou fanchise as a tech demo. It is about presenting technical engine innovations.

Repetition:
With "Abby", modding can show, how to:
- TTS Text to Speech, Voice Cloning
- Reskin of the gender.

I see Fallout Franchise as a realistic franchise.

See Youtube.
Fallout discussion is all about cookie cutter, so about the Question: when realism is fun, and what to sum up as "fiction".
"Fallout Franchise" is currently Lost and Forgotten, compare with Marvel or Star Wars Disney, Bethesda only makes Fallout 76 so as not to lose the trademark rights.
So:
Fallout SERIES lags behind the real life. What "we" call "Fallout 6" would be very up -to -date, but the points in Fallout 4 are over 200 years old. It is embarrassing that "Emil Pagliarulo" instead of chat cpt AI software.
"Fallout 6" tells the "fantasy" of today's Connoisseurs.
"Fallout 4" tells the "fantasy" of the Connoisseurs 200 years ago.
"Fallout 5" tells the "fantasy" of the Connoisseurs 60 years ago.
Fallout is not a fiction at all, you player are all just wiki/diogenes, so refuses to the general knowledge.
In Fallout franchise, you also think about it, how realistic the food cultivation is.
Better to play Fallout than, for example, the "Farming Simulator".

You obviously never played the game. Like the 1st person said they basically have a farm of crops. ALSO she wont shut up about training in the entire game!

"I'm not an antisemite, but...!"
"I'm not racist, but...!"
Have you actually played the game?
