when you buying it?
I don't really consider the game's story to be too strong. The word I'd choose was "cognitive dissonance" and this is coming from someone who is more than happy to have them stories be REAL damn dark.
I like the gameplay though!
I don't know why you sound so mad at part 1 though, I'd think fans would like both.
Maybe it's to do with the pacing, (no month-long timeskips of nothingness) and contained environment taking place in one centralised location rather than a globetrotting roadtrip (Wasn't bad per se in the original, but it meant that the narrative was always 'March forward' whereas the characters had motivations to do other things or backtrack in Part 2)
I like the larger cast in 2 better also, more friendly NPC's to bounce dialogue off from both sides is always a plus.
