Is there a way to changes confirm/cancel button?
I'm used to confirm/cancel button for Nintendo and I'm using Pro Controller to play this game, when I disabled the Steam input the game display the Nintendo buttons but the confirm button is still B.
I already look at the in-game button config but it only have an option for an action button on the field, not the confirm/cancel itself. Is there is way to changes it?

It's your gamepad causing the issue, better buy an xbox one gamepad or something like that. I am playing on my legion go gamepad amd it works perfectly, word of advise don't use a nintendk controller to play pc games you won't be able to play all pc games with the correct buttons.

I'll be fine if the the game allow me to changes confirm/cancel in button config like Persona games, they even let us changes the buttons prompt regardless of the controller you are using too. Unfortunately not many game let's us do that.

The game does allow for button remapping when you start a new game.

The game have button remapping but unfortunately it doesn't have the setting for confirm/cancel button. I hope someone will make a mod for Switch Buttons prompt just like other Tales games eventually.

The game was literally designed around the Nintendo face button layout, being a Wii exclusive back on its release, hence the mapping of A-Artes to A and B-Artes to B.

With an Xbox controller A-Artes are on B and B-Artes are on A to keep the controls faithful, but IMO is counterintuitive.

You can easily changes the A and B Artes button but the dev don't included the option to changes the confirm button for some reason which is kinda weird
