Tales classic?

How about phantasia/destiny collection the ones on psx? Also might as well throw the GBA/SNES versions on it too.

psx version of ToP, ok, but rather get the ps2 version of Destiny 1 and 2

That was 2006, the thread says tales classic, meaning the original games.

I'm sure the remake and sequel are very good I'm not learning japanese for them, that's on namco but the fact that the first 2 original games are not on here as a compilation is what I wanna see fixed. The 2 very first tales that were absolutely amazing for their time.

I really liked the graphics in psx tod. If they wanna release the remake and sequel somewhere great. But they won't even revive the originals.

I'm a big believer that if a company is gonna push a series on some medium they should start with the original installment. I loved phantasia, one of the best tales. Silent Hill1 should also be on steam if they are gonna sell 2.

I'd love to see a proper remaster of Phantasia, Destiny, and Eternia. Essentially all the same game, gameplay-wise. Just use the same engine. I know Eternia got a more or less 1-for-1 port on PSP and Destiny got an entire remaster on PS2 (which has a translation patch) but Phantasia truly deserves a full-on remaster ala Star Ocean 2. They may be testing the water by releasing this and seeing how many bite.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't there a PSP remake of Tales of Phantasia and Tales of Phantasia X? I believe it never got realeased outside japan though

Yeah. i think a group of people worked on a fan translation. Not sure if it is completed though.

Speaking of fan translations, the one for Tales of Destiny 2 is in beta testing since april

Last I heard they disbanded before they got far on it.
