I really want this game, but...

I really sucked playing Guitar Hero back in the day (you would think someone who actually plays guitar could play that game?) And I noticed this game is sorta built around that aspect. Ive watched a few tubers play this and playing 2 or maybe even 3 strings I could do, but those tubers were doing some finger bending stuff I know I cant pull off to save my neck.

Is there anyway to tone it down or customize how you play the music so it isnt as hard for people like me who cant grasp that concept very well? Also, are there a lot of customizing for the game to play the way you want?

Im probably going to buy the game anyway, but I know Ill just end up frustrated by the ongoing complexity of trying to use the WASD-F (and more?) keys. Still, the game looks like theres a lot to do and its not just the music part that fascinates me but everything else along with it... The AI chat thing is pretty cool!

I think myself here, that maybe there should be training house (basement), where you can train these songs and when you get perfect, game then rewards you dropping strings you need to finish the song. Make it easier kind of. I'm real world lead guitarist myself and i know that time been songs come easier to play. You just remember and kind of automate your play.

The keys for playing in this game are A,S,D, and F. I use both hands on them. my 2 left fingers (middle and index) on A and S, and then my 2 right fingers on D, and F. It still gets your brain working in a way you aren't used to but you can learn and get better. It's really worth it. And if your career doesn't go how you liked, you can start over. No worries. You can also upload your own custom image to represent your band. I chose Motley Crue for example.

I have the game and I did not realize it would turn into guitar hero in that way. I was awful at GH and my cousin used to make fun of my gorilla fingers cause I could not play the right colors. I seem to do that on here as well with typing. I will probably try two handing it going forward.
