Marco backstory

Hi,

I played Veil of the Witch first so while Marco's mysteriousness was intriguing I wasn't sure what to make of it yet. Now that I went and played the first game, I realize his backstory is even more intriguing. He was on Balastar's side of the war and has a poor relationship with many of the other former soldiers from House Feniche: Elena, Rosalina, etc.

I assume his story will get expanded more as the game adds more content but was wondering if anyone else had insight that I may have missed in either game?

Some interesting things:

- Balastar drops an axe called "Marco's Fury" in the final mission of the first game.

- We know Marco is not Marco's original name. (At least I think I recall this, I don't see it mentioned in the repeatable conversations)

- Marco has a HUGE distrust and hatred for the Eidolons (because of their effect on Balastar?)

- Marco starts in the Figher class with a very Berserker look that reminds me of Hector (whi is one of the few ex-Balastar soldiers to have openly rebelled against him and would explain a rift from Elena and Rosaline) but he doesnt really resemble HEctor in face. But maybe was a part of the bandits?

- Marco has a prosthetic arm, is it a clue to anything from the first game?


Anyone else have anything else to add or some insight?


Question -- is there a way to view a gallery of cutscenes/story events? I know some of the Marco lore is in there and I don't really want to start the game over again to remember that.
