unlocking "witches"

thought you could play the game starting with the maxed forms once you unlocked them but even if i select them, when i start a new game i go back to the default withc, is there any point in unlocking the maxed forms?

Nah I don't think so. Not currently at least. As it stands, it just unlocks their portrait in the menu. I have one left to unlock so i'll have to see if anything special happens when you get them all.
