Fairy Village?

Just wondering if anyone could give me a bit of guidance for how to get into the underground of the Fairy Village. There's a pedestal requiring some kind of magic key, but that's all the game tells you. Neither D'ark or Louisa give any hints either since I suspect that the game expects I went there first and recruited the succubus I assume is down there to get into Succubus Town in the first place (I got in through D'ark's Hideaway). Any help is appreciated.

The guy actually tells you when he sends you there to investigate. Kill some enemies in the village and one will drop the key.
