Artifact collection

I am currently working on completely filling out the artifact collection and I am at 122/138 but I have gotten to the point where I don't know what factions the artifacts I am missing are for. Specifically with the legendary artifacts, I would really like to be able to have some sort of faction tag for the faction exclusive artifacts.

To add on to that I would potentially like to see the ability to know what each artifact does before you discover it. I do kind of like the mystery of seeing what each artifact does though. I think that there should be a new icon added to each artifact in your collection that you have actually used, and the current way discovered artifacts are showed would be reserved for whenever you just see the artifact in your game even if you don't pick it.

I want to keep undiscovered artifacts hidden for the feeling of discovery and mystery, however, I have one idea in mind, how I can hint the requirements to discover them and make hunting to feel the collection easier.

Also, keep in mind that pretty much every major update will introduce new artifacts, so finding them all can only be achieved before the next update.

With the legendary artifacts, right now it's quite simple - every fraction has 1 for each of its unique buildings. You can only get 1 legendary artifact (guaranteed) as a mission reward in the second part of the game (and with quantum computing artifact 1 extra).

@Five Head Games Just an idea, but in the collection tab, when you hover over artifacts you haven't yet discovered directly, you could show the image for the corresponding tower. That way people would know what faction/station (I don't know if there's any station specific artifacts at the point I'm at) they would need to be using to encounter said artifact.
Edit: I'm at 127/138 and I've just been rotating through the 3 factions each new game, hoping to run into the remaining artifacts.

Great suggestion, I've already implemented similar one, but with a bit more information, as there are more limitations to artifacts, like required ship, required upgrade and required mission number. Will be live as the part of the next major update!
Keep in mind that updates will also introduce more artifacts, so completing collection can not be finished.
