Thank you very much! When the game is well balanced or even the difficulty is adjustable, I believe no one needs cheats anymore. I am looking forward to it.
I did not yet see all new content. The new WD weapon testing mission is very hard and might not level appropriately with the players. The AI is behaving extremely useless in the arena. But I didn't try the mission with full crew and appropriate level yet. It might already help to delay the mission until players reach a certain level to have enough points to invest in combat skills?
Loving the "send" feature! Loving the space backgrounds.
Thanks for you continuous work.
I suspect that also has a bit to do with you not knowing all the things you need to know to successfully fly a ship in solo mode or with an untrained crew.
I played with people who did things that raised chaos level quickly (and thus the overall difficulty) and then complained about the game being too hard. Or people who reduced science power to put "all to engines" in order to flee. Thus basically strangling their jump calculations. Those are preventable errors that you learn about WAY quicker in multiplayer than solo. Also there are ways to avoid combat and play solo or coop without fighting. -> Neutral ships, use cloak, don't take combat missions. Avoid enemy probes.
As someone enjoying to teach and who often shows new players how things work I offer you to add me and if we find time I'll quickly show you everything you need to know.
It’s a neat idea but it’s unlikely at this stage. We might add a bit more to the faction in other ways!
@obvious
Thanks for the feedback!
@Old Man Clark
Yep! The next faction to go is the Alliance of Gentlemen which should be Beta 23 if all goes well!
@Lego
Thanks for the feedback! In the next update we’ll remove the jump count restriction on the weapons testing mission, which should hopefully allow more room for crews to level up and try again or go and buy additional resources to aid them.
There a type of human/cyborg
- Fly to system one - two drones - disconnect - reload
- Fly to system two - three drones - disconnect - reload
- Fly to system three - two drones - disconnect - reload
- Fly to system four - three drones - disconnect - go to steam community - cry, baby!! *LOL*
