Cannot process scrap anymore(Roland)

I moved cargo away already, to be sure nothing else blocks the scrap i want to process. It stands alone but i just don't get the option to process it, this happens in the cargo space of my Roland.
I have around 10 other things in the cargo hold, equipment, nukes and that, does this disturb maybe ?
Would be cool to have a workaround anyhow.

Happened to me before. I just reloaded and I could process it.

After a while it worked here too. Not sure what caused it, maybe warping, or maybe because i reloaded too.

Your ability to process scrap is based on having specific talents and processing attempts. Your issue here sounds like processing attempts. When you first join a game you start with 0, and you get that value reset to 3 every time you warp. The talent points needed are comp upgrade operator or item upgrade operator.

Well, i have these talents and i did not use up my 3 tries of processing, and when i moved to a scrap piece in the cargo hold, i even did not get the info at the bottom, like i always get when nearing stuff in the cargo hold. It was definitely a problem of the game.

Edit few days later: happens in my Carrier too, restarting the game did not help. So it must be something happening ingame, changing it back to normal, like fighting or warping.

No, see, there's a glitch where when you load a save you just don't get the process scrap selection at all. Do a warp and it comes back. Also it sometimes works to move it to a different bay. And by that I mean.. say you have 3 sets of pallets. Each set is 2 or 5 or whatever count pallets. If you move the scrap in that set of pallets it won't come up. But if you move it to a completely different room or set of pallets sometimes it will come up.
