Help with W.D. Annihilator

The AI engineering bot uses coolant when the core is about to reach critical temperature with every ship. However, on the Annihilator, the bot never uses the coolant...ever! It just shuts the core off and allows it to cool. I have checked the behaviour tweaks and they are exactly the same on every ship. Is this a bug? Please help as it's so frustrating.

i think it is a bug. it seems that happened with me before. i don't really use the annihilator very much due to the start with no money, and the weak weapons/shields.

except it being one of the tankiest ships. a great all rounder. Fire is bugged, hence fire is ♥♥♥♥. But just replace the main gun (it even sells for 7900) and get a laser main gun. then you're good for eternity.

The shields recharge by shooting enemy ships!!! it's broken af.

The hull gets tankier the lower the health. Easily 875 armor max at level 5+

i knew about the lasers helping to regenerate shields, but i think that they are very weak in that field, so i will try selling everything and hope i can make enough to buy actual systems.
