no pvp, everybody has a set role with specific duties, missions are not randomly generated but the map is. Cooperation is key. Adventures, exploration and combat. Graphics are less stunning, but nice. There are similarities but also differences. If you enjoy Sea of thieves, there is a good chance you will enjoy pulsar as well.

More or less, yeah. There's a lot of differences if you get into the nitty gritty, but broadly speaking that's a good way to think of it.
