Seen that it has DRM free implemented from humblebundle is it coming to gog?

Title says it all, is it coming to gog? I'd gladly rebuy on gog as well if this is the case, and MP is implemented as well, as far as 4x extra copies just to show my support for such.

It's DRM free, but you're gonna want a steam copy to join most games. The ban system relies on steam, and most games have the steam requirement enabled.

I mean if im playing based on white listing of user names or UUIDs, and its inhouse with say my kids, family, and or friends (remotely just throw up a server on one of my vms) then i don't see the real concern here unless i go and make it public, or make it password protected and someone leaks the password(?) but i see what you mean. I just favor getting away from things tied to needing to be online to play. Gets a bit annoying

The steam requirement can be disabled, you can use password protection if you want a private experience, and the game can be played offline. However, I believe a lot of the charm I get from this game is from being able to join public games and experience their version of running through the galaxy.

Hmm... I think I like both online, offline, and privatized no internet gameplay (community centers/Lan parties). It really depends. Just my preference. But yeah playing with others is hands down more fun than just bots as that can only go so far... except for tribes vengeance bots... they literally give off the feeling of playing with newbs, vets, and "average" players, which is a blast. Still can't make up for the real time human element though. That's why I still play it and set it up in community centers. Really cool to see the game thrive in a closed environment for the younger gen. And fun overall

i'm not sure if they still do, but they did sell the game directly from their website.

edit: yea they still do, but that was through the humble store that they were selling it DRM free

I wonder if they'll continue to keep it DRM Free on Humble Bundle. I'll have to really get into it for a few days to fully explore it and go from there. I'd absolutely rebuy it though through gog just because its easier to pull updates/downloads their (as their mass downloading is getting easier to implement)

I would absolutely love this game getting on GOG, also thank you for helping me confirm that the DRM free version can play online with other DRM free copies! Im excited to try to get my polycule into this game
