Research materials for missions

So ive noticed one mission required me to hand in sylvassi stems and one other that i cant remember

are there any other missins that requires research materials? if so which ones do i need to store/save for that time?

A few years ago there used to be only one mission that I can think of (and this might be the one you mention, it required HG-77-somethingsomething [found in the lava cave] and one other that was more common - Sylvassi stem fits this description).

Cannot say for current versions as I haven't been playing it a lot for a year or more now.

Heyho, there are 3 missions that require research materials.
- If you play as WD you need three(!) IU-somenumber materials
- for the "research sample" mission from the Hydroponics Lab on Outpost 448 you need one Sargastia Tribulen and one Waxthorn
- for a mission on an ice planet you need one HG-somenumber
