We need to revive this game

Back when Streamline was running, I've always enjoyed every single match I've played on it. I have so many fond memories of myself playing with my friend who streamed this game, and one time we even had the dev's join on in the game. I really do wish they somehow re-ignite the fire that they had so many years ago, and revive this dead project into what it was before and improve from there on out.

Thank you Proletariat Inc. for making this game. You really did make my teenage years so much better.

Let's hope one day this happens.

Fully agree. I miss this game. It had so much potential and there is no similar game out there.

Kind of a shocker that nobody has tried to revive this game with custom servers of some sort.

You can't really do that without the underlying code. The company behind the game never allowed it, and given it's heavy twitch implementation, it would be impossible to bring it back to its former glory. There's also just not the fan base there for a custom server to be possible.

But, none of us can really do anything unless we have an understanding of the underlying code. When you deal with a purely online game like this one that doesn't store much of the gameplay locally, you can't really do anything about it. All we can do is pressure the devs to allow there to be a way someone from the community can host their own matches using their code-base.
