Could be wrong but so far the Main Menu song was changed and a new voice was added for Mita (Spanish) Havent searched far from that.

Seems like a bunch of Christmas related stuff was added. A main menu music change, snow particles, and Christmas decor in the house.

Is there a way to disable the snow particles? Having come back to play after taking a break I find them very distracting and immersion breaking.

Until this is fixed, try changing the date on your PC. This may help to remove the new year stuff.

Since the devs are russian, they just added this before the new year. You see, New Year is considered the main holiday in Russia, and it celebrated here like Christmas

From what was previously mentioned in this thread its mainly the holiday decorations which seem to be based of your computers local date and time. Changing the date to anything before Dec 29 2024 will revert to the original or somewhere after january 1st.

There is also at least one other holiday I have found in game decorations for and that being Halloween by setting the computers date to Oct 31 2025

most games have some cosmetics for chrismas or other festivities, its the most realistic that MiSide also has one, as youd expect a tamagotchi game to have it and you just happen to get isekaid into that world.
