Game crashes when starting the computer in The Real World Chapter
Can anyone help me with this bug, the game unfortunately crashes when in the cutscene where you turn on the computer and eat noodles in the chapter, The Real World.

Rejoice, friends, because our friendly community in Discord has found the root and solution to the problem.
The crash wasn't even caused by the game itself - the problem was with the game engine and the drivers for the graphics card.
The problem occurs for those who have drivers of version 39X.XX. It is worth putting slightly older drivers, 388.XX - the game goes like clockwork, no crashes.
And, unfortunately, this is something that developers are not able to fix. The problem is with Unity itself and its interaction with the graphics card, Nvidia Moment

No, I went to the dev's discord server and reported the bug tho. It seems to be a common issue among those with low vram gpus

Yeah, thats a bit old.
Its more likely its just a bug because despite this GPU being old it still shouldnt be outright crashing unless its running out of VRAM which might be possible since its a GPU that has only two version 1GB and 2GB so if its one 1GB it might be running out of VRAM trying to load assets for next event.

For sure for sure, just hope that the devs find a fix on this issue real fast.
Having the same problem, my computer is outdated and I was happy I was even able to run this game in the first place. I thought I found a work around at first, I set my resolution to the lowest and it worked at first until you have to manually open the application on the in game computer, haven't had any luck getting past that part.

That is very outdated and low end.

My pc - I3-2100, GTX550TI, and game still works 55+ fps, only that place cause trouble
As far as I understand, the problem is in the game engine, or rather, in one specific 128x2 pixel texture that the game cannot load. The problem only occurs on relatively weak PCs, which is the only thing we've been able to figure out at the moment. It remains only to wait for fixes

Dont buy that ancient low end GPU, get something newer from either 40xx or 50xx series.

GTX 750ti was a low end crap gpu from 2014 lol.
Get something from this decade.

Vibes "If you're homeless, just buy a house"
I'll probably surprise someone, but not everyone has the money and the opportunity to buy a top-end PC.

Then dont expect to run new games, gaming is luxuiry and privilge and not a human need so people should stop complaining when game doesnt run on their ancient crap.

And today there are many good cheap options other than buying a low end crappy GPU from 20freaking14.
