I get what point your trying to impress, but you keep answering to all these reply's like its a job... Like shut up and go about your day, its not that hard. Or are you too immature and need to take chill pill.
Anyway Miside (imo) is a great game, ofc it has its downsides, but i dont hate on the whole game just because this game has downsides. Some people like the game and some dont its pretty simple. Just dont go out of your way to write a whole essay everytime someone else comments on this post. Its not a job pal, your not getting paid.
Miside, despite everything, is a well-written psychological horror with deep lore, not "entertainment for 30 year old virgin anime fans" as you like to put it. Judging from your responses, you'd agree that saying "Atlyss is nothing more than a gooner game for cringe furries" is incredibly unfair and stupid to that game, and that the person saying it is refusing to give the deeper aspects of the game a chance. What's stopping me from saying the same about your gut reaction to Miside?
And here's the bulk of the problem. Sheer, unprompted prejudice against the anime community. Funny, considering it's the exact same ♥♥♥♥ the furry community goes through.
You bring up DDLC being a bad game. DDLC, too, is an incredibly well-written psychological horror. I've played it more than once, and I'm not afraid to admit it's in my top 10 games of all time. Every time I replay it, I catch onto new details that enhance my understanding of the story and lore, allowing me further appreciate how clever the writing is. I hate the community of both games, don't get me wrong, it's full to the brim with gooners that missed the point entirely and don't give two ♥♥♥♥♥ about anything the actual game has to say, but they are not the game itself. And you can find plenty of people who enjoy writing first and foremost that adore these games.
Sounds like you can't understand why these games are popular, and decided to blame a group of people you can hate on because it's easier than accepting that it's simply not your cup of tea. You can dislike good video games without downplaying their quality.
You think THAT small group of sentences is a "whole essay"??
Don't judge someone for moderately responding to people reacting poorly to their opinion under their own steam discussion thread. People are allowed to defend themselves when under attack.
industy
Putting all else aside this game is ... interesting. Is it the best game ever? No. The ending also actuall annoys me because it does the whole "HA HA! Everything you did was pointless! Bad guy wins!" I mean ... at least it did it in a more clever way than just entirely dismissing your efforts ... but still.
There is also a lot of questions I would have liked answered like that thing in the core room.
But still the game is a trip.
If you don't plan on playing the game, why do you care so much about it? and about the people who play it? all I see is you making assumptions about things you do not know, especially people you don't know.
No point on explaining anything to you since you already said it yourself "I really don't understand" if you don't now, you never will.
Haters gonna hate.
They just want attention (even more if they hate/don't like a popular/trending game) and they know they'd get it on here (as you can see by the replies the OP has gotten)
"visualize the portrait of those who play it" you mean make assumptions about people you don't know off a game you will never play because you're hating on it?
"And I already know who you are just by looking at your profile" nope, can't know someone fully just off stuff from their profile. You make assumptions but are they 100%? will never know unless you know them in person.
"I knew the target audience of miside would look like this" and what target audience is that? you knew and don't know nothing/anything. All I see and read from you are assumptions. Hating on a game you don't like because it's in the top of the Steam charts.
"terrible games like dokidoki or miside" And what makes them terrible? if they were terrible, they wouldn't be liked/loved and enjoyed by many. You are just a hater.
Please, avoid stuff you hate unless you just want attention because you have a lonely life.
