MiSide
Will it be playable on controller?
I wanted to know if at some point the game would become compatible with controllers, I have an Xbox controller and I like to play lying down, which I can't do when I'm using the keyboard/mouse

shi there will be moments where you have to watch closely like when mita is about to pause the radio
it is, I had been playing all day with a PS5 controller
i use antimicro, i match the keys from the game with the buttons on the controller

The game doesn't officially support controller, however there's this wonderful thing called Steam Input that can translate controller inputs into M&K inputs:
  1. Enter Big Picture Mode (the screen icon on the top right next to the window buttons)
  2. Select Miside
  3. In the game screen, select the controller icon (about middle of the screen on the right, next to the gear icon...aaand i'm assuming you've connected it by now)
  4. Make sure the screen that opened says "Using Steam Input Translation", otherwise click on "Enable Steam Input"
  5. On "Current Button Layout" you can either choose the "Keyboard (WASD) and Mouse" template or pick a layout from the community (i found one already selected).
  6. Launch the game (you can open the overlay with the "middle" button or whatever keys you usually use for the overlay)
  7. In "Edit Layout" you can customize pretty much every button to what key you prefer, you can even use the gyro sensors as the mouse on DS4/5), just make sure the right stick is set to "mouse joystick".

Keep in mind that while steam input does its best to translate the commands, it's still as if you're pressing keys on a keyboard. Also you will still see M&K prompts on screen.
So not everything will work perfect, but it's definitely good enough to play.
thanks for the tips guys :)
yeah, I'm not sure why this game doesn't have native controller support in 2025...:Puzzled_Pepe:

+1

Game needs native controller support. A lot more people are playing on handhelds now like the Steam Deck and ROG Ally and use a controller.
It’s not the same having to mess about with community controller layouts in big picture mode, or having to map the buttons yourself in BPM too.
