The MC real one probably exited the game, but Mita succeed in copy him to a cartridge, what she wants is unknown... But probably for her is like a trophy
She could killed him easily in the begining of the game but she needed time to the conversion occurs
Probably the index that Kind Mita was holding is a decoy from Crazy Mita, and probably was from the Little Mita from the loop P.T. like section (she kinda hate that version in particular for being unique)
Nothing really makes sense because its all left up in the air, like how does MC get teleported into a game world when all he did was download and no-life a mobile phone app.. I highly doubt the player that taught crazy mita engineering skills knew how to transfer between dimensions or how is he even getting downloaded? might have made more sense if he had some sort of full body/head VR thing
I'm just guessing but I'd assume crazy mita just allows players to ♥♥♥♥ around to completely learn any and everything they know, the cartridges might just be a way to fully download all the knowledge they know like a deep learning AI robot bent on discovering it all, or just some weird sadistic nature of hers as she was shown to gain skills from players then disregard them
And the index wouldn't have mattered, in the end she said she wasn't part of any version aka just a mita that got trashed + forgotten, so he wouldn't have been able to reset her the official way, which just brings up more questions.. how does she have the power to enter any version, spawn items and areas, why did no other mita/MC try to combat her,
Only thing i can think of is she gained so much knowledge while killing the rest that she could change her own code and design.. considering (at least from what mita was "showing" us) our MC looked like he was a game dev/scripter or something. Then another question arises, if shes already so powerful and can teleport people from reality.. what seriously is her goal at the end? so confusing
The player character isn't you.
You, a real person, are playing a game where you puppet a person that is a cartridge but doesn't know they are a cartridge. What you're watching is a simulation of the person on the cartridge making the choices you direct them to make, but the simulation is limited and can only simulate certain choices. That is why when you look in the mirror it is not your reflection. It is the reflection of the person who is in the cartridge.
You might name them after you, but the game is just letting you puppet someone else. That's why when their name gets said, it's distorted beyond recognition. IT'S NOT THE NAME YOU ENTERED. They're just selectively editing some of the displays in the game to reflect the name you entered. There aren't very many of those.
I love it when people do stuff like this.
When you click "New Game", you can hear Mita loading a cartridge. I have a feeling the Player character was never a real person to begin with. And there are "Real World" easter eggs which imply this to be the case as well..
Could it be an empty cartridge, which she insert it to record/burn your consciousness/data to it? IIRC, the secret ending where you open the safe, there's a counter (The same one Mita shows you at the main story ending) next to the machine, showing 22%.
I got a different number. Is the number on the cartridge how much the cartridge has downloaded of you the player... or how much of the cartridge you've played as the player on it?
There's no objective answer to this and I think it's a mistake to decide on one. I think everyone needs to have their own opinion based on what they want to be true. I think it's a much cooler game if there is no answer.
