What Kind of Gameplay?
Hi everyone,

What kind of gameplay does this game offer?

Is this game similar to Doki Doki? Where it starts off nice and fun, then gets dark and creepy. Is it a 3-6 hour story with multiple endings? Or is it more open ended with gameplay loops?
Can I come back in 3 months to play it for another 15 hours? Or is it a one or two playthrough game, and then never play it again?

I've seen reviews saying gameplay is 3-6 hours. Is that 3-6 hours worth the cost?

I enjoyed the demo a lot, but I'm worried it's a very short game with no longterm gameplay to keep me playing after my first playthrough. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing. I just normally prefer games that have open ended gameplay loops with good stories.

So i would say it's kinda like Doki Doki but not at the same time. Prologue is very calm and then its a rollercoaster between horror and more calmer moments. There are two endings, and in every chapter there is something new. In the next update they will add peacefull mode that will be a hang out mode with Mita.

So that peaceful mode would be the long term gameplay to go alongside the campaign.
Thanks for that info.

For now its a 1 or 2 playthrough game, tho peaceful mode is expected to release in mid 2025 (Dev posted it on another thread), i managed to 100% it on 10 hrs so the game being short is kinda true but at the same time it's not that short

I typically do not play horror style games, but after watching someone play the demo of this one I decided to give it a shot. My biggest issue when I watch YouTubers play horror games is "jumpscares just because I can." There are a few jumpscares in this game, but they fit well. The other types of horror in this game fit really well. When I play games I tend to take the time to find all the dialog, hidden secrets, collectibles, etc. I think my first playthrough was somewhere around 4 and a half hours. As far as replay value I don't think it would have as much of an effect. Although I am curious about one thing I learned during the credits, but I won't spoil that for you. I can say that if you are a fan of horror games that you will be interested in this one. The scares are well scripted into the story and not just there for the sake of scaring the player and at no point did any of it feel repetitive or stale.
