P.S That wasn't a 'shoulder massager' and she clearly states that it IS an 18+ game. You got that wrong.
She VERY specifically says the game isn't 18+ in Japanese. That's the point here. The subs say it is, the voice says it isn't. And apparently neither of these are the original language in the first place, so god knows what the Devs actually intended.
So the Japanese version is wrong and should be probably be disregarded when there's some contradiction.
Well now every one of the girls suddenly got way ruder, but also paradoxically less affectionate, since they only refer to you as "darling" and the like in the subs.
The dialogue in general could use work, if only to get all the different translations to read naturally.

P.S I have no issues with how the dialogue was written in Russian. And the voiceover in Russian is also pretty damn good.
I'm a JP>EN translator. There's always a lot weirdness with those kinds of translations since the whole field is full of charlatans who don't actually care about maintaining fidelity to the original dialogue, but outright contradictions like the one example I gave a are rare. I may just have to go complain, because between grammar/spelling mistakes in the English thing, and wild swings in the MItas' characters in the Japanese, it's looking like someone somewhere fell asleep at the wheel.
I think the developers in this is not much different from me, so they really wanted a Japanese voice. Or the majority of donators who supported development of the game wanted Japanese voice. Perhaps the main voice of the game is just Japanese?
But it's worth noting that the Russian voice acting is surprisingly very good.
About the cool mita and the joke about the 18+ game.
If I remember correctly, different countries have different age ratings. Maybe it's just a mistake in the subtitles. By the way, somewhere at the launch of the game just says that they have not yet fixed all the flaws and asked for help with it.
Honestly, the Japanese lines often a huge improvement over the English ones anyway. If it were up to me, I'd just figure out which ones work better and just change the English subs before trying to re-record anything.
I'm doing a daily thing where I upload the bigger problems with the translations for the locations on the Discord. Hopefully they listen.
Early on she even says the "World just isn't perfect YET" (As opposed to "But not everything's perfect in this world..." knowing this game is dark and ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up from the start, implies that she's going to use MC to make it perfect and fix all the issues she was talking about. Possibly by shoving him into the core she was talking about and using his knowledge of the real world or whatever to fill everything in.
Why do you want to rewrite a translation to match yet another translation? Some weird Japan-obsessed revisionism right here.
