For anyone looking for the solution, limit your fps to 58 manually. in NVIDIA control panel.

Some games have physics or systems using the fps as a base. Watch fps bug compilations on youtube, you'll see how random and weird things can get at a too high fps.

turn off vsync

Vsync doesn't seem to be an issue in my experience, I turn it off for all games and manually adjust it in NVIDIA settings, limiting the FPS is the best fix that should cover it.

So you can limit FPS only at NVIDIA settings?

I mean, you should be doing that for all games if you want to keep on top of those sorts of bugs. A lot of games have weird physics bugs or other odd issues when the FPS is too high, I personally check the FPS for every game to see if I'm having an issue, a lot of the time bugs end up being the result of too high of an FPS.

As of right now there's not an in game setting of that answers your question.
