How to Print your D&D fifth edition character sheets
Are you looking for a way to print your D&D fifth edition characters that you've made in Fantasy Grounds?

Step 1: Export your character into an XML file
a) Go to the character list
b) Click on the list edit menu tool to show the list editing options
c) Click on the export button next to the character you want to save

Step 2: visit the link below, browse to your XML file and click Print
https://www.alonlinetools.net/FGCharacterSheet.aspx

Note that this only works for D&D fifth edition and only for characters built within Fantasy Grounds. If you built your character using the D&D data packs or entered in the additional information for your spells and abilities, you can include the details on your sheet.

I get a "HTTP Error 404.0 - Not Found" on that link.

Try this one:
https://www.alonlinetools.net/

and then look for the "Character Sheet from FG XML" button.

Alternately, I just started work on a new application that prints out a basic sheet to an HTML page that is printable. It works for D&D 4E, D&D 5E and Deadlands Reloaded at the moment.

The Universal one looks really good, I would make the font for the character name smaller for those of us that have long elven names. The online one gets the stats mixed up with the bonus. ie. The stat number appears in the box where I would expect the bonus to be and vis versa.
Edit: I've read some of the comments on the FG website and some people think that the online version gets the layout right (bonus in the big box, stats in the little box) /shrug

Sure. It should be trivial to provide several different variants. I personally prefer the attribute score to be the bigger value and the bonus below, but that may be a bias from playing earlier editions.

Thank you for this tool!

Some feedback: I was expecting the stat to be the big number and the bonus to be in the little circle as well. In general all of the fonts could be bigger. Equipment was perfectly on the lines, but features and traits were way off. I'd love for there to be the ability to pick which Fighting Style is in use instead of printing all of them. Positive adjustments should be printed with a "+".

You might take a look at the other link I posted. Since I didn't write the Adventurer League tool, I can only make changes to the one posted on the Fantasy Grounds forums. It has larger fonts, the stat as the primary display and may have alignment handled differently. In the forum thread, other people are also welcome to post their variations freely by simply editing the XSL sheet.
