More likely your players are trying to connect via IP and your local IP has changed (even if using the phrase I have had a similar issue with my GM, I often have a passphrase and an IP connection history. Assuming the IP has not changed either would work but even with the same username the local assets will be reset [notes and character access and such]. If the default method you used to get your players connected was IP address and your IP changed then not only will the players need the new IP to connect but notes will be lost and their character will need to be released. This is why a passphrase is best, even when your IP changes the passphrase will not need to be updated [also with a reconnect error they might get shunted to an IP connection but if the default is the passphrase they can get in with their usual assets again on reconnect.])
If not related to that, its most likely to be generic P2P connection problems (closed port, firewall, ISP traffic filters, regional switch went down, etc).
If all else comes up looking right on your end call your ISP, I play with someone who's ISP filtered his connection to the server as a file sharing connection and they close the connection on him pretty regularly and this BEGAN like 2 years into regular sessions for him.
If players are connecting to your game, then getting kicked there are lots of reasons for this:
* usually it is a bandwidth issue, I find if my upload drops below 3mbps players have problems.
* If you are creating your own maps, try to keep the image as small as possible, there are lots of official size recommendations on the forums, but I use under 1mb as a rule of thumb, less is better.
* If most of your players are stable, and only one specific player drops out, the issue is likely to be at their end, either their router, ISP, bandwidth or virus protection software
* If no one can connect, use the test feature, if it is green "Success" it probably isn't you, but use the name generator e.g. "Spooky midget wise owl" and you don't get any issues with IP addresses.
* If none of this works, I suggest you use the FG forums and try the groups on discord for more help.
I'm glad it is fixed!
