Steam error when loading FG

When I try to launch FG as of today after I updated it won't load saying I don't have permissions and giving me an error 1223. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, running just the updated again and still it fails. I run a weekly game every Thursday so I need this fixed ASAP

Update: error reads: windows can not access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access them. After I hit ok on that window another error pops up that reads: FGSteamLauncher: Unable to start Fantasy Grounds client Error: 1223

I believe you have to give access to a folder, I remember people having this issue a while ago. I'm about to head out to work, but look it up on FantasyGrounds.com in their forum, if you don't see it, I'll check when I get to work and copy/paste the link for you.

What OS version and service pack are you running?
What if your Fantasy Grounds data path?
How far through loading the application do you get?

Another possible cause - AVG incorrectly flagged the executable as a virus since it replaces itself as part of the update process. To fix that, you can do the following steps:

1. Open AVG Internet Security and click on the Options by the close/minimize buttons.
2. Follow the drop-down menu to Advanced settings.
3. Should get a new window, on the left pane, go to Exceptions, then the right side Add Exception.
4. Choose Folder. Click Browse.
5. Select ([drive]:\Program Files (x86)\Fantasy Grounds\).

Great. AVG also just reported earlier today that they corrected the false report on their end, so you can now remove the exception if you want.
