i installed the game on drive D, but now I've merged drive D with drive C, so the game can't find drive D to install the game, and there's no way for me to choose drive C as the installation drive. 10/10

It was a refreshing game at launch, but as the updates progresses, it started feeling repetitive and tedious, and I literally stopped playing the events since its more of a chore than fun.

I always avoid PvP in Gacha games for obvious reasons, but the PvE is good, especially for the Spiral of Destinies.
In my personal opinion, it is the only saving grace for me (and only reason to not uninstall the game), allowing you to explore a story rich path with choices that you make that will decide the ending (and re-playable to try other paths). The best part, it is independent of the Gacha element (though at second play-through onward, you can select two characters to bring into the story; they won't affect the story, more like soldiers you can use for the combat) and some path offers multiple endings. The path is split into sections, and you do need keys to unlock and play but you'll get two free keys weekly, which i deem sufficient for casual play.

Guild system seems pointless, and its a truly wasted opportunity. I had feedback early on to have lco-op guild missions to have better interactions and engagements with members but nothing came of it and the guild just died off as everyone else stopped playing.

I would only recommend this game if you are not driven by FOMO (Fear of Missing Out) and have self-control to keep it casual with or away from the Gacha and events. You will be able to enjoy the Spiral of Destinies once you unlock it.
Beyond that, would not recommend.

I want to like this game, but seeing it having "auto play" completely ruined it for me. If XCOM had auto play, nobody would play it.

pay to win - late game is just pay to win LOL

The gameplay is pretty good but the multiple currencies are oof.

As much as I enjoy the top-down turn-based tactics genre, and while this game is enjoyable it's very micro-transaction heavy when it comes to the characters that are more unique/have dedicated mechanics.

This game is infested with a toxic mobile app style cash shop. You will be prompted to and expected to give money to the developers through this cash shop to buy in-game goods so you can play the game.

Sword of Convallaria is one of thousands of nasty mobile apps infesting the "free" section of Steam, but it's not really free.

There's only a superficial "game" here.

This 2D iso pixelcrap "JRPG" looking mess has, I kid you not, literally hundreds of in-game currencies and some of the most toxic monetisation imaginable as you have to "recharge" to keep playing through the toxic cash shop. And what do you get when you have paid enough money to play? GRIND... which you can sort of skip around by, you guessed it, paying more money.

So really, the mobile app "game" is just a veneer, a thin skin wrapped around a nasty, predatory mobile app cash shop.

Thus, the true purpose of this mobile app is to get you to hand your credit card details to the greedy mobile devs so you can buy stuff in the nasty cash shop... it shouldn't be considered a real game because it's a mobile app cash harvester, and has no place in your game library.

Putting that toxic mobile app monetisation aside... this is a mobile app. I didn't spend thousands on a gaming PC so I could pretend it's an iPhone, and I don't think you did either... this kind of mobile app has no place in your Steam library.

Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it?

Nope. This isn't worth downloading. While this didn't cost me any money up front, I still feel ripped off.
