a lil bit, but for me it's kinda Browndust2 with more tiles lol

this game is basically tactics ogre, final fantasy tactics but with downsides "stamina, gacha and so on" unicorn overlord is a completly different game in my opinion "real time tactics with auto battle function "focus on squad teambuilding, similiar like the ogre battle series"

overall its not a bad game in my opinion

Not even close, Unicorn Overlord is one of the best T-RPG to come out in decades, Sword of Convallaria is a gacha. As far as gachas go, Convallaria is decent and it looks fine, it's nowhere near UO though

I find it very bizzare how many people are lumping UO with turn based TRPGs.

It's not surprising, RTwP and TBS can effortlessly transform into each other, queue Baldur's Gate series or various 4X games ( GalCiv vs Distant Worlds). Both UO and SoC are medieval tactics game epics, and i think the underlying question is whether someone who liked UO will like this game, and the answer to that is most probably a yes.

Personally i find UO closer to this game, than to Browndust, despite it being technically closer to browndust 😵

I was this close to install Brown Dust 2, but then i saw this game and was set.

Unicorn Overlord is nothing like anything we have had recently, it is like Ogre battle. SoC is like Tactics Ogre.

Its not a good alternative to Unicorn Overlord, this game is too shallow for a tactical rpg.
This game is design Mostly for newbie or mobile players.
