Release time is atrocious.

Everyone saying it releases at 8PM Eastern, but Steam page is all jacked up. we'll find out I guess.

The official splash says 8:00pm ET, so I'd say that's pretty trustworthy.

The Steam release is two hours behind mobile and Convallaria's separate PC launcher for some reason. Mobile and their launcher is already available for preload and when you run the game, it says launch is in 6 hours from now.

There really needs to be an industry standard where if a game releases after, say, 3 PM, it should be noted as being released the following day.

Its not the biggest deal in the world, but its a seriously annoying thing that happens entirely too frequently. The should have just said it releases on Aug 1st and then say you can load in early the night before.

It's a global release and there are many different timezones. It launches on August 1 morning for some and July 31 evening to others but it's all at the same time. Otherwise, that would mean the west would have to wait another day to get to August 1 while the east have already been playing for a day.

I think we are all aware of that. The point being put out there is that advertising a release date and then releasing in literally only the final hour of the day is bad. The marketing of it. I would have rather been told it was being released tomorrow.

I checked their official launcher and the steam button is available there too.
