Playing on the Steam Deck?

I was going to dive in, I'd taken a peek at this game's demo months back -- but didn't do much because I wanted to wait closer to release. I am playing on my steam deck.

I re-tried the other day -- was stuck on the opening screen. I don't know what to click or do to get the game rolling. Anyone else stuck there?
