Lizard statues?
How can I avoid getting insta killed by those statues? I've tried not looking at them, or not looking away but they always find a way to kill me

Well, now I know I have to be aware of lizard statues when I eventually find them.

They'll only activate if you're within a certain distance of them. Though if you do activate them just keep your eyes trained on them until you get a wall between you and them. That's what worked for me.

anyway, those lizard statues are a really good easter egg of the weeping angels : you look away, they kill you

Also they're incredibly susceptible to explosives.

You can use TNT on them. Beyond that, keep your eyes on them, and keep moving!

Weeping Angels don't kill you.

Weeping Angels don't kill you.
They can if they wish, and have done so in a episode.

I can't remember the episode because it was so long ago, but don't they only move you though time if they want?

I wouldn't call it an easter egg. It's an old mechanic that's been done in many places, some of them long before Doctor Who finally decided to get in on it. And even if it weren't, it's not really that specific... I mean, "statue that moves when you look away". That's a pretty simple idea; two people having it doesn't make one a homage to the other, necessarily.

well I just literally finished the second floor/world with an elegant mixture of stealth and the teleport spell when-ever I saw a statue I would hit my teleport way over it's head wait for a second then teleport over it is important to stealth through this level because you may get ganged up on by lizards, mages and those really creepy un-killable ladies. this may cause you to run past a statue trying to escape and accidently look at it. I literally sat down and played eldritch and afterwards I thought "I got' a tell some one about this and then I remembered this discussion" . Hope this helps :), bye! I forgot to say this but if I looked at one I would slowly back away still looking at it until I got out the chunk / square on the mini map :) !!!

Also, they won't aggro if you're behind them, you can easily use that to your advantage by just sneaking past them without acticating them at all. I guess spells like Cloak might be good, but what also works is a utility spell like lift og tp so you can avoid getting in fron of them. Their agro radius isn't too big, so with some planing and stuff, you should be able to breeze past them!
