There's probably some bugs, this is a new 64-bit binary that hasn't been extensively tested. If you have trouble, use the 32-bit (classic) option to play with the original binary (all the new content is still available in 32-bit/classic mode). (Windows only; Mac and Linux are now all in on the new binaries.)

Unlocked Timestep mode should be considered experimental, and may cause some new bugs, but it should also make 144fps available finally!

just played a quick run, flintlock pistol seems to be a more powerful revolver, smelt kit lets you smelt artifacts into bullets
Well this is a nice surprise.

Hey. Cool...I finally will play the game :)
Really appreciate that you still develop it further. Thank you a lot.

Epic :) I am still trying to find the time to replace fmod with openal for meldritch... obtaining a 64 bit version of fmod is way to involved these days.

Btw is Eldritch Reanimated coming to itch as well, or is it steam only?

The timestep was not already unlocked? It played great at 144FPS before. Wierd. Well either way it looks like an excellent update to a game I've had forever and just started playing. How convenient

Hey, will this update also be available on humble bundle?
Hm I guess it was never 144FPS before actually. I got confused with Ziggurat which was unlocked from the start.

If I recall correctly, the Humble and itch versions are both still at the circa 2014 version for compatibility with the source code release (because I didn't want to update the released source with Steam-specific features, which would make it really easy to cheat the leaderboards). I might update those at some point, and just make the legacy version an optional download on itch, but I haven't made a decision yet.

(In any case, all storefronts provide a Steam key with purchase, and the Steam version is DRM-free so you can copy it over and run it anywhere if that's important to you.)

Edit: I just realized I can keep the old versions side-by-side with the new ones on those storefronts, so Build 400 is available everywhere now.
