That kinda feels like a Troll Answer since Axe Mastery has/should not have anything to do with a Sword Skill but i gonna test it out later.
thx assuming this is the correct answer.
It's really not laid out well, but the skills are connected by both sword and axe paths. They could definitely polish up the skill tree UI a bit.
I kinda wish it would have been a Troll Answer.... Simply because i have Zero Points left and Zero in Axe Mastery ( surprise surprise ). Which means if i go for this Skills i gonna need 8 Level Ups.
I don't even knew if this Skils are gonna be that good. Altough i have 3 Classes with Elemental Skills so it should be worth it.
thx for confi.
The Chaser skills are really strong, but you need to build around them for them to be worth it. Make sure the rest of your team has at least one element trigger.
My warrior has focused all points into the Chasers, and the rest of my team has one point in their respective elemental attacks just for the triggers.
Totally the Devs were not really creative when it comes to Classes outside of Digger(which is still a 10/10 Name xD ) . Pretty sure Landknechts can use Axes since E01 tough . Are you implying that the also needed Axe/Sword Mastery for Chaser Skills in EO? Which is completly possible since i never used this Skills in EO.
Mostly because my Party (in EO) did never cover much Elements just my Alchemist in 1 and in E02 i did not even use a Landknecht . Had a slightly unorthodox
2x Ronin 1x War Magus
1x Healer 1x Gunner Party.
Never used the same class twce afterwards(not counting subclasses) altough that party worked really well and i had fun with it.
Yeah both EO1 and EO2 Landys need Lv. 5 Sword/Axe Mastery, and EO2 allows them to use Axes to follow up attack, instead of being locked to Swords. EO1 doesn't have "chasers" though, they're just a single elemental follow up.
EO2 is where Chasers changed to multiple activation rate per level. They need a dedicated party to use them properly, but the damage is really high.
In my opinion, the obvious solution would be a seperate joint branch from both sword and axe, but there may not be enough space for that in all resolutions and screen formats. So I do feel like for the time being, until they adjust the UI so everything fits better, this is an acceptable middle ground.
After all: It's a level 5 Sword/Axe skill that's BELOW sword skills that need a higher skill level and ABOVE axe skills that need a lower axe level. It's pretty obvious that there's SOMETHING funky with the placement since no other skill in the game does this, and just sorts the level requirements linearly, right? It's not perfect but it's good enough for now.
The most easy Solution would be a simple change
instead of : Requirements are not meet
Change it to : Requires Axe and Sword Mastery at Lv.5
That way there is no need to create some new brachning for literally one single Skill in the entire Game.
Altough the promised new Classes, so the might create more double Skills.
